To Novice trekkers, to Adventure cravers, we present you a short trek to the Mardi Himal trek. The trip will be a beautiful evocation of the introduction to the mountains in Nepal. The perfect length of over a week will make you accustomed to alpine climbing skills in mountain ranges. Famous as one of the shortest and easiest trails in Nepal, the journey to this destination has been popular in recent years and the number of tourists is increasing every year. The beautiful trail is exceptional with surprising weather and all kinds of terrains that lead to the epic view of the mountains.
Overview
Mardi Himal trekking begins with an introduction to the beautiful city of Pokhara. The actual trekking Journey is set off from the Place called Kande and elongates through Australian base camp, Pothana, Deurali, Low camp, Badal Dada, High Camp, and ultimately to Mardi Himal base camp where you see, the peaks and ridges extended in all directions, encompassing large swaths of the beautiful Annapurna Mountains, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli peaks the famous six thousand meters of Nepal.
The journey begins from Kande with a small introduction to the villages nearby. Leaving behind the Village area we head straightly to the lushly sub-tropical green forest. The walk around the green forest is calm. The jungle is decorated with rhododendrons, mossy, fallen leaves, and some beautiful meadows. The upward trail continues up until the main crux of Badal dada which is at the elevation of 3200m. The journey is tiring and demands a good physical limit. Reaching this point is the beginning of the magisterial experience snow-capped ridges above 4000m elevation offer a beautiful view of the mountains on both sides.
Finally, you tread towards the ultimate destination of Mardi Himal base camp Situated at 4500m altitude. The Viewpoint is excellent and you find yourself scrambling up on an exposed ridge with the sky beneath your feet. Shortly and wonderfully you present yourself to the mighty mountains. The iconic fish-tailed mountain Mt Machhapuchre imposes its alluring beauty, the sacred mountain Annapurna blesses you, and the small Mt like, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli keeps you spellbound.
After the exploration of the hidden gem in the Annapurna Region is concluded, We make sure that the descending time is also precise. After the day full of promises and wonderful experiences of enjoying the view from the top, we descend before the onset of afternoon rains, snows, and harsh winds which are constantly occurring in this region. We head towards Siding village for an overnight stay before we head back to Pokhara and eventually back to Kathmandu.
