Tours and Holidays: Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu valley is the largest city in Nepal comprising three districts, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. The city has a mystic charm. Here sun rises in the kettle of tea and sets in the glass of whiskey. The city is moving as the days pass by but people are unaware of the changes going around. Yet once you get over these you will find Kathmandu beautiful, heartwarming, and ever-ready to lend you a helping hand. The valley is surrounded by four big hills Shivapuri, Nagarjuna, Chandragiri, and Phulchowki hills, and a few mountains also can be seen like Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, and Langtang Himal and other mountain ranges. English is spoken in major touristic places.
The richness in heritage, ethnicity, and unity in diversity is praiseworthy. UNESCO has listed 7 world heritage sites, itself in Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar square along with Boudhanath Stupa, Swyombhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Changunarayan Temple. It is one of the most important cultural cities in Nepal. The cultural diversity and architectural talent with ancient cultural blend in Nepal are exactly reflected by The Durbars, Temples, Stupa, and Monuments. The carved stone taps, historical alleys well-paved red brick floors, and the rooftop design of the monument are the solid foundation of the first impression.
